When you start at NECC and then transfer to a state university or a University of Massachusetts campus, you can take advantage of the MassTransfer Pathways.
If you would like to take a class at the college you are transferring to while still a student at NECC, then check out NECCUM (Northeast Consortium of Colleges and Universities in Massachusetts).
Transfer agreements help to ensure you are taking the right courses and electives in your program so you can have a seamless transfer from NECC to the four-year college or university of your choice. Transferring has been great and easy. Honestly, I think going to Northern Essex and then transferring to a four-year school is the way to go. You get a great education at a great cost. It’s an easy transition into a four-year college because NECC prepares you to be independent.
