Come explore electricity! You will learn how to design and create electric circuits to light up and power the world.
Answer many of life’s questions in this class. Will 100 pins make a balloon pop? How can you make a paper airplane fly farther? How does a catapult work? How can a car be powered by a balloon? What makes things float in the air? Can an egg survive a one story drop? What’s the strongest type of bridge? All of these questions can be answered with physics!
Get lost in space this week as you delve into the solar system. Learn about and make your own constellations as you explore the planets and travel through space!
In the Recycled Race Cars course, students use recycled materials to create DC-motor powered cars. Students will create a car from scratch and learn how to make the car roll with a motor and battery. Recycled Race Cars covers an array of STEM topics, including circuits, electricity, recyclable materials, and conservation.
Explore types of energy forces and structural designs in this hands on building course. Compete to build a bridge that can withstand the most weight and survive harsh stress tests. Design and construct a Rube Goldberg machine that uses gravity, inertia, and everyday objects to cause a chain reaction that will shut off an alarm before it goes off. Combine your creativity and knowledge of physics to see if you can be the best builder!

Participants will learn how photography has evolved from a science to a technology over hundreds of years. We will begin by exploring the chemical origins of darkroom photography, then we will build skills in taking digital photographs and editing images on the computer. By the end of the week, students will have a portfolio of images to share!
Come learn about electrical LED circuits and use them to make works of art that light up!
In this course, we will make our own art to inspire our own writing. Come create art to help write inside out stories, create portraits to write monologues, and make light up bottles decorated with your own poems! Spend the week getting creative with writing!
