Catering Options for Your Meeting or Event
We are pleased to help you choose a caterer for your event. After you have been assigned a room, you may arrange to have food and beverages at your meeting or event by contacting one of NECC’s trusted catering partners below. Please contact your NECC event coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org to inform her of your catering company selection.
Any catered events that begin after 3 pm Monday – Friday or on the weekends will automatically include a custodial fee of $168. Please remove all food, beverages, glassware and serving utensils from the conference room after the meeting/event is completed. If you need trash removal, please contact the janitorial staff at extension 3922.
It is NECC’s policy that all in house food orders being paid for by an NECC org, need to be invoiced and purchased through an approved vendor. It is important that this policy is adhered to in order to avoid being charged tax where the Commonwealth of MA is tax exempt. If a NECC Employee neglects to follow this policy, that individual who pays for the order will be responsible for all tax charges.
In addition, food should only be provided when it is for a meeting or event with outside parties in attendance or a student club and if your department has money in the budget to cover it. If you are having a meeting or event that has only NECC employees in attendance, you will need a VP approval beforehand.
