Single-stream Recycling

Haverhill Campus practices single-stream recycling, which means no separation of recyclable products. Paper, plastic, and cans are all recycled together.

Phone and Ink Cartridge Recycling

Unwanted cell phones and inkjet cartridges are recycled by the college in accordance to EPA regulations or refurbished and reused. Donations are accepted at the following locations: Sport & Fitness Center (Snack Bar/D104) and the security office (Spurk Bldg) on the Haverhill Campus; and the Student Engagement Center, Dimitry Building Room 131, on the Lawrence Campus. Proceeds benefit NECC Athletics and Student Engagement Center.

Environmental Awareness Events

Each April, NECC hosts a series of events to celebrate Environmental Awareness Month.
