Good Evening, NECC Students—

In order to support campus health and safety needs and prepare for possible disruption to classroom instruction that may be caused by an extended outbreak of Covid-19, I am pleased to share with you that NECC will hold a Remote Teaching and Learning Prep Week during the week of March 23-27.

During these days, and through March 29, face-to-face classes and the face-to-face portion of hybrid classes will not meet. Fully online classes will continue as normal.

During Prep Week, all administrative offices will remain open and available. Faculty and staff will report to campus as usual, and will be participating in course planning and professional development activities that will help them prepare to offer classes for the rest of the semester using alternative, remote learning tools if circumstances require it.

At this time, we anticipate that classes will resume in whatever format is most appropriate on March 30. Please continue to monitor your college email and the NECC Coronavirus Information web page at www.necc.mass.edu/public-safety/coronavirus-information/ for additional information.

May you, your families and loved ones stay safe and healthy.

Thanks,
Lane A. Glenn
