Campus Crime Statistics
Congress enacted the Crime Awareness and Campus Safety Act of 1990 under Public Law 101-542, Title II. This act requires that institutions of higher education receiving federal funding collect information with respect to crime statistics, campus safety policies and, beginning September 1992, prepare, publish and distribute an Annual Safety Report. This act is now known as The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, generally referred to as the Clery Act.
Campus Safety & Security Report
Northern Essex Community College, in accordance with these requirements, publishes an annual Campus Safety & Security Report (Clery Report) and makes this report available to the campus community each September. The report includes important safety information and detailed crime statistics for the previous three calendar years.
