The Haverhill Commons

Located at Spurk (C Building), Room C201

The Haverhill Commons is a vibrant student gathering space designed to help you connect, recharge, and thrive. Whether you’re looking for a quiet corner to study, a comfy spot to relax between classes, or a place to meet new people, you’ll find it here.

Equipped with computers, printers, and study areas (including a quiet study zone), The Haverhill Commons supports both your academic and personal success.

Student clubs hold meetings here, and events are hosted throughout the semester to help you get involved and stay engaged. Grab a snack or drink, check out info on campus services, connect with faculty and other students, or just hang out and unwind.

The Lawrence Commons

Located at El-Hefni, (LC Building), Room 132

Located in the El-Hefni Building, the Lawrence Commons is a welcoming hub designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. Whether you need help with academic planning and course enrollment, a quiet space to study, a comfortable corner to recharge between classes, or a friendly place to connect with classmates, the Commons has something for you.

The space is equipped with computers, printers, and study areas, making it easy to complete assignments, work on group projects, or prepare for exams. For students who learn best in a collaborative setting, group study spaces are also available.

Beyond academics, the Commons is a place to build connections and get involved. Student clubs regularly hold meetings here, and our popular Lunch and Learn events bringing students, faculty, and staff together to share ideas, explore opportunities, and engage in meaningful conversations.

To support your well-being, the Commons also provides access to snacks, drinks, and the on-campus small food pantry, ensuring that you have the resources you need to stay focused and energized. Faculty often stop by as well, giving you the chance to connect outside the classroom and strengthen relationships that support your success.
