Community Resources

Community Resources at NECC understands that sometimes “life gets in the way” of students’ success in college.  Our staff is here to help you connect with on-campus and local, community resources that may help you stay or get on track as a student. We can provide one-time referrals or short-term case management to support your individual goals for both personal and college stability and success.   We respect each individual’s right to self-determination and the inherent dignity and worth of every person.

Community resources works with students facing a wide variety of life challenges, including but not limited to:

  • Housing
  • Child care
  • Food
  • Financial
  • Health care and insurance
  • Legal issues

Please see our online list of commonly requested local resources.

The Community Resources Office oversees the on-campus food assistance programs for students.
