Promoting Success at NECC

At NECC, we are committed to fostering a positive environment for our students and our employees.

We recently completed our strategic plan, NECC2020, that will guide us in serving our students, employees, and the community through 2020. We also use Appreciative Inquiry, a positive, change-based philosophy and team-building approach that seeks to learn what works best in an organization, and then to build on it.

In order to better help our students succeed, NECC participates in Achieving the Dream, a nation-wide initiative aimed at helping community college students succeed in completing coursework and earning certificates and/or degrees.

Additionally, we continually strive to improve our physical environment to enhance learning, and are currently undergoing Dimitry Building renovations.
