New England Higher Education Recruitment Consortium
Developed in 2006, the New England HERC is a collaborative response of member institutions to the many challenges of academic recruitment and retention. One particular interest of the New England HERC is finding effective ways to assist the spouses and partners of faculty and staff to secure area employment.
A vital aspect of the New England HERC is the web-based search engine that includes faculty and staff job listings at all member institutions.
The New England HERC is comprised of a diverse group of public and independent schools, colleges, and universities. Member representatives include staff, human resources professionals, institutional leaders, and faculty relations experts.
