Student COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
Effective January 2022, Massachusetts Community College students, faculty, and staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and submit verification of their fully vaccinated status to the College absent an approved reasonable accommodation. This page offers the information you need to know to familiarize yourself with and to meet the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.

Submit Your COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
You can now upload your COVID-19 card or immunization certificate through MyNECC at COVID-19 Vaccination Reporting Form. The form will require you to submit vaccination type, date(s), and upload a photo of your COVID-19 card or immunization certificate. This process will be simple and take approximately five minutes.

Student COVID-19 Vaccination Deadline Timeline – Spring 2023
Students participating in the the Summer and Fall 2022 semesters must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 absent an approved reasonable accommodation. The deadline to submit an accommodation request for Spring 2023 is January 6th 2023. Students, submit your proof of COVID-19 vaccination using the COVID-19 Vaccination Reporting Form.
Moderna: 2 Doses, 4 Weeks Between Doses + 2 Weeks = Fully Vaccinated
Pfizer: 2 Doses, 3 Weeks Between Doses + 2 Weeks = Fully Vaccinated
Johnson & Johnson: Single Dose + 2 Weeks = Fully Vaccinated
Novavax: 2 Doses, 3 Weeks Between Doses + 2 Weeks = Fully Vaccinated
The last day to receive your 1st dose of Moderna to be eligible for the Spring semester was December 7, 2022. The last day to receive your 2nd dose of Moderna to be eligible before the Spring Semester is January 4, 2023.
The last day to receive your 1st dose of Pfizer to be eligible for the Spring semester was December 14, 2022.The last day to receive your 2nd dose of Pfizer to be eligible for the Spring Semester is January 4, 2023.
The last day to receive your single dose of Johnson & Johnson to be eligible for Spring semester was January 4, 2022.
The last day to receive your 1st dose of Novavax to be eligible for the Spring semester was December 14, 2022. The last day to receive your 2nd dose of Novavax to be eligible for the Spring Semester was January 4, 2022.

Reasonable Accommodations Request
Massachusetts Community College members, including students, faculty, and staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and submit verification of their fully vaccinated status to the College absent an approved reasonable accommodation consistent with the Student Vaccination Policy.
All requests for reasonable accommodation, including any requests to be exempt from vaccine requirements for medical or religious reasons, will be considered consistent with applicable laws and legal guidance and the Board of Higher Education Policy on Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity & Diversity for the Massachusetts Community Colleges. The College will engage in an interactive process to determine if you are eligible for a reasonable accommodation, and if so, whether the requested accommodation is reasonable and does not create an undue hardship for the College and/or does not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the learning and working environment, as applicable.
If unable to submit verification of full vaccination status and seeking a reasonable accommodation to comply with the Student Vaccination Policy, you should complete and submit the electronic form along with the requested documentation.
