Transfer

  1. Let our Transfer Advisor, Rosalie Catalano help you with the process, contact her at rcatalano@necc.mass.edu
  2. If you have not already done so, complete your transfer application.
  3. Research the deadline to apply to the transfer institution.
  4. Colleges have several different opportunities to meet with NECC transfer students as indicated in the tabs below. We strongly urge you to take advantage of these opportunities as you plan your future.
  5. Request that your official transcripts from NECC be sent to the transfer institution. You should order them once you submit your application, even though your current courses are in progress. You then update the transfer institution by sending them another transcript once your degree is awarded.

  2. Email the Center for Business & Accounting to request a review of your petition and DegreeWorks audit before you submit the graduation petition and DegreeWorks audit to the Registrar’s Office – the deadline is March 31st.

Do your research

We know that 2020 was a challenging year. While many challenges remain, spring 2021 begins with an end to this pandemic in sight. Our students and employees took risk reduction efforts seriously. Because of that, UMass Lowell had a far lower COVID-19 positivity rate in the fall than surrounding communities, and we were able to increase face-to-face classes to 25% this spring (up from 8% in the fall 2020 semester). Like you, we look forward to resuming additional operations as conditions allow.

Transfer Admissions webpage -this includes a button for an online chat that is staffed from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
