Dimitry Academic Center

The mission of the Dimitry Academic Center is to provide Business and Accounting, Professional Studies, and Liberal Arts students who are studying in Lawrence with a sense of belonging at NECC. The Center offers greater access to faculty, Career Services and professional advisors.  It is also a welcoming place for all students to meet with classmates, use a computer, print an assignment, attend an event, or learn about transfer opportunities. Students who are undecided about their major and those taking ESL (English as a Second Language) classes in Lawrence are invited to use the center to connect with fellow students as well as faculty and staff as they explore their academic and career options.

We are located in room L200 on the second floor of the Dimitry Building, 45 Franklin Street in Lawrence. 

Our staff are available in-person and on Zoom to meet your advising needs.

Career Services in Lawrence

Sandra Rochon, Director of Career Services, is available to meet with students by appointment in the Dimitry building on Tuesdays.
